Day 7: the Australian Open (surviving the ...) *with Sandy

My suggestion of having a happier Australian Open this year is actually working.  Sandy and I are taking a more 'Open' approach to this 'Australian Open'; we are enjoying the games more and are fighting less.  We are watching the matches in good companionship and have cheered on all the Aussie players. For tonight's match the preparations are going well: 3 bags of pop corn and 24 bottles of beer. Samantha Stosur (AUS) is playing Petra Kvitova (CZE) and after that it is Nadal (SPA) versus Tomic (AUS). We are both supporting Stosur and Tomic although we know that they may all lose.  Gonçalo and Freddy G. may be joining us later for a drink although neither seems to like tennis much.  I can hear Gonçalo singing his fados, (oh God, this man, when he is not singing fados he is eating sardines).  Anyway, here's Sandy with some photos of the first seven days of the 2011 Australian Open and some different ways of saying "this is mine" her favourite statement in Spanish.  Bye for now, enjoy the games if you're watching them,   Matilda

Matilda tiene razón, este año tenemos un Abierto de Australia "en paz".  Necesitamos paz en el mundo y hay que empezar en casa.


Bueno, esas son algunas de las fotos que he encontrado por ahí.  He buscado buenas fotos, un poco artísticas, fotos que me gustan, así que no quiero protestas: "falta tal jugador" "no veo a ..."  "ese no merece estar" "esta foto es fatal" "¿y por qué no ha puesto una foto de ....?" etc etc. Nada, no acepto críticas. Este es mi blog. A ver, diferentes maneras de decir lo mismo: "Soy la dueña del blog, el blog es mío, es mi blog, el blog me pertenece, el blog es de mi propiedad, mi blog no es tu blog ....   Los visitantes del blog pueden mirar y admirar pero no pueden criticar.  Es todo por ahora.
